The Grove — Listen & Notice

What Did You Hear?

Listen carefully, then choose the sound you heard.

Grown-Up Guide

We're practicing: Listening for one sound among other sounds and naming what we hear.
Watch for: Does your child look toward the sound, point, or try to say the word?
Try saying: I heard a ___. What did you hear?
Keep it going: Try a listening hunt at home: pause during a walk and name three sounds together.

Play is where communication begins.
